New exercise plan aims to help patients twist and turn after shoulder surgery
NCT ID NCT07145957
Summary
This study is testing if a special 6-week exercise program done before shoulder replacement surgery can help patients regain the ability to rotate their arm inward afterward. Researchers will compare patients who do the exercises to those who follow standard care, measuring their range of motion, strength, and ability to do daily tasks. The goal is to see if this 'prehabilitation' leads to better long-term function for people getting a reverse shoulder replacement.
