Summary
This study tested whether a phone-based health coaching program could help pregnant women manage their weight gain during pregnancy. Researchers enrolled 534 women from diverse backgrounds who were overweight or obese early in pregnancy. The program used phone calls, a website, and mobile tracking to provide support, with the goal of preventing excessive weight gain and reducing risks like gestational diabetes.
