Summary
This study looked at whether adding pregabalin or gabapentin to usual opioid painkillers can reduce the amount of opioids needed by people with orthopedic injuries. About 109 adult trauma patients took part. The goal was to see if these add-on drugs help control pain while lowering opioid use and related risks.
