Summary
This study compared two common pain medicines, pregabalin and gabapentin, given before surgery to 142 adults having lower limb orthopedic surgery under spinal anesthesia. The goal was to see which one provides better pain relief and longer-lasting effects. Results showed which medicine worked better at reducing pain and delaying the need for extra painkillers.
