Summary

This study tested two common pain medicines, pregabalin and gabapentin, to see which one works better for pain after orthopedic surgery. 142 adults having leg or hip surgery under spinal anesthesia received one of the two drugs before the operation. Researchers measured pain levels and how long pain relief lasted.
