First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a specific massage technique (manual lymphatic drainage) to standard physical therapy helps people regain knee movement faster after knee replacement surgery. The study involved 44 adults who had knee replacement and compared those who received the massage plus standard therapy to those who received standard therapy alone. The main goal was to measure knee range of motion one week after surgery.
