Why do blood vessels stay damaged after preeclampsia? new study investigates.
NCT ID NCT07345845
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This early-phase study looks at why women who had preeclampsia may have lasting blood vessel issues. Researchers will test if a hormone receptor is overactive, causing inflammation and poor vessel function. Forty women (some with a history of preeclampsia, some without) will have skin blood flow measured and cells collected to understand the problem.
