Can aspirin protect against preeclampsia? new study seeks answers

Summary

This study looks at pregnant people at risk for preeclampsia who are taking aspirin as part of their care. Researchers will collect blood samples up to four times during pregnancy to measure proteins from the placenta. The goal is to understand how aspirin affects these proteins and to develop a test to monitor placental health and predict preeclampsia. Up to 1,000 participants will be enrolled.
