Lung scope ultrasound patterns may reveal hidden cancer clues
NCT ID NCT07478913
First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at 50 adults with enlarged lymph nodes in the chest to see if ultrasound patterns seen during a bronchoscopy could predict whether the nodes were benign or malignant. Researchers compared the ultrasound images to the final tissue diagnosis. The goal was to help doctors choose the best lymph node to biopsy and improve accuracy.
