NCT ID NCT06364371

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study aims to create a model that uses multiple types of patient data to predict whether rectal cancer will completely disappear after chemotherapy and radiation before surgery. Researchers will enroll 106 people with locally advanced rectal cancer and track their health information before, during, and after treatment. The goal is to help doctors decide which patients can safely skip surgery and instead choose a watch-and-wait approach.
