Summary

This observational study aims to create a model that uses multiple biological data types to predict whether rectal cancer patients will have a complete response to pre-surgery treatment. About 106 adults with locally advanced rectal cancer will provide samples before, during, and after treatment. The goal is to help doctors decide who might safely avoid surgery and instead choose a watch-and-wait approach.
