First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at 41 first-graders (25 with autism, 16 without) to see if their ability to learn patterns predicts language and reading growth over three months. Children played computer games and had brain scans, then took language tests. The goal is to understand how children with autism learn language, not to test a treatment.
