This study looked at nearly 6,000 ICU patients with severe kidney injury to see if a scoring tool called UNDERSCORE can predict when dialysis can be safely stopped. The goal was to avoid restarting dialysis or early death within 7 days. Researchers used existing hospital data to test the score's accuracy.
