Summary
This study aims to find the best way to predict if a patient aged 75 or older visiting a French emergency room will need to be admitted to the hospital. Researchers will test an existing prediction tool (GAPS) and create a new one (PROFACTHOS) using medical records from nearly 1,000 past patients. The goal is to help doctors make faster, better decisions for elderly patients in the ER.
