Summary
This study aims to develop a prediction tool to identify which patients undergoing major liver or bile duct surgery are at high risk for a specific type of heart injury that can occur after the operation. Researchers will collect data from 1,800 patients, including their health history, details of their surgery, and specific blood test results. The goal is to create a clear, understandable model that doctors can use to better monitor and care for high-risk patients after surgery.
