First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study will enroll 200 adults scheduled for surgery to remove rare adrenal tumors called pheochromocytomas or paragangliomas. Researchers will test a model that uses 6 factors to predict if a patient will have severe blood pressure swings during the operation. They will also test a real-time early warning system, continuous glucose monitoring, and an AI tool for anesthesia planning, all without changing standard care.
