This study aimed to create a computer model that can predict which intensive care unit (ICU) patients are at risk for dangerous blood clots (venous thromboembolism). Researchers analyzed data from over 12,000 adult ICU patients to build and test the model. The goal is to help doctors identify high-risk patients earlier and prevent clots.
