First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether artificial intelligence (AI) can predict how much of a patient's advanced ovarian cancer can be removed during surgery. Researchers will train AI to analyze images from a camera inserted into the belly (laparoscopy) to help doctors decide the best treatment plan. The study involves 151 adults with stage III or IV ovarian cancer at hospitals in Italy and Canada.
