First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a person's genes can help choose the best treatment for muscle pain. Researchers tested 80 people with myofascial pain using low-level laser, ultrasound, and prolotherapy. They collected blood and urine samples to find genetic markers that predict which treatment works best for each person. The goal is to create a personalized pain management plan based on individual genetics.
