First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether a personalized diet plan helps liver cancer patients eat more and recover better after liver surgery. 139 adults who had part of their liver removed were split into two groups: one got standard care, the other got a custom meal plan with extra protein supplements. The goal was to see if the special diet improved nutrition and recovery. Results could lead to better post-surgery care for liver cancer patients.
