Could Pre-Surgery workouts speed up lung cancer recovery?

NCT ID NCT03020251

Summary

This study tested whether a home exercise program before lung cancer surgery helps patients recover better. Researchers compared 90 patients with lung disease who did either standard breathing exercises or added a 3-week home training program. They measured if the extra exercise led to shorter hospital stays, fewer complications, and better fitness before surgery.
