Could Pre-Surgery workouts speed recovery from lung cancer operations?
NCT ID NCT03020251
Summary
This study tested if a home exercise program before lung cancer surgery helps patients recover faster. It compared 90 patients with COPD who did either standard chest therapy or added home training for 3 weeks before their operation. The main goal was to see if the exercise group had shorter hospital stays and fewer complications after surgery.
