Summary
This study is testing whether a structured health program before surgery leads to fewer complications after hernia repair. Patients with a specific type of abdominal hernia are randomly assigned to either follow a pre-surgery program or proceed directly to surgery. The program includes guidance to increase physical activity, promote weight loss, and better manage other health conditions.
