Doctors test higher radiation doses before breast cancer surgery

Summary
This study is testing if giving radiation therapy before surgery is safe and effective for early-stage, low-risk breast cancer. It will enroll 21 women over 50 to find the highest safe radiation dose. Researchers will check if the tumor shrinks and monitor side effects and quality of life.
