NCT ID NCT07077200

First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looked at two common ways to help children aged 2 to 12 feel less anxious before an endoscopy (a scope procedure). One method was watching a short video, and the other was a nasal spray medicine called dexmedetomidine. Researchers measured anxiety levels at different times and how much extra calming medicine was needed. The goal was to see which approach worked better for easing fear and helping kids stay calm.
