Summary
This study tested two educational and cognitive-behavioral programs for 163 adults with chronic non-cancer pain who were waiting for specialized treatment. The goal was to see if these programs could help people better manage their pain and prevent it from getting worse while they waited. The main focus was on reducing pain-related negative thinking, with follow-ups at 2, 6, and 12 months.
