This study checked whether older adults (65+) with advanced chronic kidney disease who start a higher dose of the drug pramipexole have more hospital visits or deaths within 30 days compared to those on a lower dose. Researchers looked at health records of 1,100 people in Ontario. The goal was to find safer prescribing practices for this vulnerable group.
