Generic Parkinson's drug put to the test against Brand-Name in healthy volunteers

NCT ID NCT07519278

First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested whether a generic version of pramipexole extended-release tablets works the same as the brand-name drug MIRAPEX ER in healthy Chinese volunteers. 49 participants took a single dose of each version under fasting and fed conditions. The goal was to check if the generic drug is absorbed similarly, which helps ensure it can be used as a safe and effective alternative.
