What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
PR-ESSENCE (a manual-based training program for mutual problem-solving)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a structured way to help youth with behavior problems and neurodevelopmental disorders improve their behavior and relationships.
What could go wrong
This is a very small, early study with only 20 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The treatment is behavioral, not a cure, and effects may vary.
