First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether a blood test before delivery can identify women at high risk for developing dangerous high blood pressure after giving birth. About 60 pregnant women with risk factors will be enrolled, and those found to be high-risk will receive extra monitoring and care to catch problems early. The goal is to reduce emergency visits and serious health issues related to postpartum preeclampsia.
