Summary

This study will give 300 new mothers a medical-grade smartwatch to continuously monitor their blood pressure for six weeks after delivery. Researchers want to see how blood pressure changes in women at low, medium, and high risk for postpartum hypertension. The goal is to learn how to predict and prevent serious complications like preeclampsia and heart problems after childbirth.
