Smartwatch study aims to predict dangerous Post-Birth high blood pressure

Summary
This study will give 300 new mothers a medical-grade smartwatch to continuously monitor their blood pressure for 6 weeks after delivery. Researchers want to learn how blood pressure changes differ between low-risk, intermediate-risk, and high-risk women. The goal is to better predict who might develop complications and when to step in, without using the watch to make treatment decisions.
