New therapy tested to help struggling moms after birth

NCT ID NCT07485036

Summary

This study is testing whether a 6-week therapy program can help new mothers who are experiencing depression and drinking alcohol. Researchers will enroll about 30 mothers within their first year after giving birth. Half will receive the therapy sessions, while the other half will not, to compare if the program reduces symptoms and alcohol use.
