NCT ID NCT06521398

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests whether extra support from a doula—both in the hospital and after going home—can help mothers of very premature babies feel less stressed, depressed, or anxious. About 20 mothers will be randomly assigned to receive this support or standard care. The goal is to see if this approach improves mental health and helps mothers get the medical follow-up they need.
