First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at how many women experience lasting pain after mastectomy and breast reconstruction for breast cancer. It also tests whether a surgical technique called regenerative peripheral nerve interface (RPNI) can reduce nerve-related pain. Researchers will follow 274 women treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering to better understand this pain and explore a potential treatment.
