Summary
This study tested whether mailing informational postcards to patients with heart devices (like pacemakers or defibrillators) who had lost remote monitoring connection would help them reconnect. Over 2,700 patients from VA hospitals took part. The goal was to see if a simple reminder could improve adherence to remote monitoring and reduce gaps in care.
