New study tracks complications after same-day kidney cancer surgery

Summary
This study follows 50 adults with localized kidney cancer who have laparoscopic nephrectomy as an outpatient (no overnight stay). Researchers will record any complications that happen within the first month after surgery, such as pain, infection, or bleeding. The goal is to better understand how safe and manageable same-day discharge is for these patients.
