Summary

This study tested a type of talk therapy called Positive Psychotherapy (PPT) to help people with serious mental illness quit smoking. Sixteen adults who smoked at least 10 cigarettes a day and wanted to quit took part. The goal was to see if at least 20% could stop smoking completely by 16 weeks.
