New Pocket-Sized device could spot heart failure worsening before symptoms appear
NCT ID NCT06604468
Summary
This study is testing a new portable device that measures electrical signals in the chest to detect early fluid buildup in the lungs of people with heart failure. Researchers want to see if this simple, non-invasive device gives results as accurate as standard ultrasound and CT scans. If successful, it could help patients and doctors spot worsening heart failure earlier, potentially allowing for better at-home management and fewer emergency hospital visits.
