Inside the mind of a trauma doctor: study tracks skill growth
NCT ID NCT07550244
First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at how anaesthesia residents build important non-technical skills—like communication, leadership, and decision-making—when treating patients with multiple serious injuries (polytrauma). Researchers will interview 16 residents at different stages of training to understand how these skills develop over time. The goal is to improve training programs, not to test a new treatment.
