First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether drinking nonalcoholic red wine, which is rich in natural compounds called polyphenols, can help older adults stay sharp and strong as they age. Researchers will give 72 people aged 60-74 a daily dose of these polyphenols as part of a healthy Mediterranean diet. They will measure changes in memory, muscle strength, and gut health to understand how diet might slow down aging.
