Summary
This study looks at how natural compounds in strawberries and raspberries (polyphenols) interact with gut bacteria to reduce inflammation. Overweight adults with mild inflammation will eat berry-based foods or a control diet for 4 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in blood and stool markers to understand the gut's role in inflammation.
