New vaccine combo tested to protect babies from polio and stomach flu
NCT ID NCT06331156
Summary
This study tested whether giving two important childhood vaccines—one for polio and one for rotavirus (a common cause of severe diarrhea in infants)—together is safe and produces a good immune response. It involved 400 healthy Chinese babies aged 6-10 weeks. Researchers measured antibody levels and monitored for side effects after the vaccines were given.
