New vaccine combo tested to protect babies from polio and stomach bug
NCT ID NCT06331156
Summary
This study tested whether two important childhood vaccines—one for polio and one for rotavirus (a common cause of severe diarrhea)—are safe and work well when given at the same time to healthy infants. It involved 400 Chinese babies aged 6 to 10 weeks. Researchers measured the babies' immune responses and monitored for any side effects after the vaccinations.
