New drug combo may shorten dangerous low-white-blood-cell period after myeloma transplant

Summary

This study tests whether adding plinabulin to the standard drug pegfilgrastim can shorten the time white blood cells stay dangerously low after a stem cell transplant for multiple myeloma. About 17 adults aged 18-75 who are getting a transplant will receive both drugs. The goal is to reduce infection risk and help recovery.
