New pill takes on hard-to-treat lung cancer in major trial

Summary
This study tests a new drug called PLB1004 against standard chemotherapy for people with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer that has a specific genetic change (EGFR exon 20 insertion). About 327 adults with this cancer type will be randomly assigned to receive either PLB1004 or chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if PLB1004 can delay cancer growth better than standard treatment.
