First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a fun, game-like biofeedback armband to regular play therapy helps children with autism better manage their emotions and social skills. Sixty-eight children aged 6 to 10 will be randomly assigned to either play therapy alone or play therapy with biofeedback for 8 weekly sessions. Parents and teachers will fill out questionnaires to measure changes. The approach is safe, playful, and designed to feel natural for kids.
