Scientists launch Decade-Long quest to map the secrets of our blood

NCT ID NCT07137429

Summary

This study aims to understand how platelets—the cells that help blood clot—normally function in healthy people and how they change over time. Researchers will follow 400 healthy adults for 10 years, collecting blood samples and health information every six months. The goal is to learn how factors like diet, exercise, and aging affect blood clotting to build a foundation for future research on heart disease and stroke.
