NCT ID NCT07580326

First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study examines brain tissue removed during surgery from 150 adults who had a bleeding stroke. Scientists will check for tiny plastic particles and see if they are linked to worse recovery or more inflammation. The goal is to understand if environmental plastic pollution plays a role in brain health after a stroke. No new treatments are being tested.
