Plasma vs. standard care: race to save severe burn patients
NCT ID NCT07212998
Summary
This large trial aims to find out if giving plasma (the liquid part of blood) as soon as possible after a severe burn is better than the current standard resuscitation fluids. It will enroll 750 adults with burns covering at least 20% of their body. The main goal is to see if early plasma reduces deaths and serious organ problems within the first 28 days.
