First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study compared how well manual and powered toothbrushes remove dental plaque in people wearing clear aligners. Fourteen adults with bonded attachments on their teeth brushed for two minutes, and plaque levels were measured before and after. The goal was to see if one toothbrush type is better for keeping teeth clean during aligner therapy.
